Free Private Medical Treatment
Many of our clients are still recovering from their injuries and would benefit from private medical treatment or rehabilitation early in their claim. We have particular experience in using the legal process to achieve this. If you have a claim for compensation for an accident, the law allows you to include the cost of any necessary medical or rehabilitation treatment in your claim. You do not have to wait for NHS treatment and can claim the cost of private treatment and even the cost of treatment which is not available on the NHS. Provided it is clear who is liable for your claim and that it is likely to be successful, in most cases we can obtain a payment on account of these costs from the other side early in the claim. This is then used to fund the treatment or rehabilitation you need. The end result is that you get the treatment you need when you need it most at no cost to you.
In one recent case, a client with serious leg injuries needed expensive “home gym” equipment so that he could continue his rehabilitation at home between physiotherapy sessions. Not only did we obtain the cost of the private physiotherapy but also the cost of the gym equipment.
